It's a moving way to memorialize those lost. Having well-known people involved really helps to connect directly with the meaning and import of the memorial, and brings it right home to the here and now. My first comment was perhaps a bit flip, but in a way, that's sort of the point, or at least one of the points. He's not just someone in an old-timey photo, but someone I relate to.
