I have a fictional blister that agrees with you mightily...five thousand extra words, but it made the end of the story!

I may have exagerrated when I said I had an arc. I usually just have a conversation...

I know where I want to go and some of the stops I'd like to make along the way but the route is infinitely variable. Sadly this means that I start with a simple story that should be about 50K words and end up with a fiendishly complicated one that scares me to contemplate.

I wish, I really wish, I could write short.

LOL. I have the opposite problem. seem to reach the conclusion too quickly.
