Found my 'lost' Wilfred Owen

I've been trying for ages to pin down one of my beloved Owen's homoerotic poems, without success. I didn't realise it had changed its name so I was looking for the wrong thing. So here is Lines to a Beauty seen in Limehouse, in Wilfred's own hand, with his own amendments. Stunning stuff - shame it was never finished.

I find something moving about the places where he crossed things out, and put other things in. You can almost see his thoughts. Different than reading a poem in a printed book.

Thank you for posting this-- it is quite special.

Oh yes, indeed. There are loads of examples of his work in that archive, with amendments. Who is the god of Cannongate is another poem in a similar vein.

Have you come across 'Page Eglantine'?

Yes-- delightful. So much unsaid.
