Havant Literary Festival - some old gems

By which I don't mean the Deadly Dames, although we will be there. I had never heard of Percy F Westerman but his books look just the sort of thing I can imagine Jonty reading. There's exhibition about him at Havant Library.. The covers are a social commentary in themselves.

Actually, those covers make me think of The Charioteer, Laurie imagining Ralph as a hero in a boys' book. Happy sighs.
