No April fools post today

Was bereft of ideas. Still, am enjoying this article about April Fools Day: 10 stories that look like pranks but aren't. The Telegraph used to do something similar, always having a "looks like a wind up" story on April 1st. The one about the hero shrews was my favourite (I knew they were real).

This is a fascinating story. I have a feeling the original case inspired some of Agatha Christie's plots. (Sayers uses the same idea, too.)

I work from home, too, so rely on either 'getting' my family or enjoying pranks in the media. I did manage to con my daughter into thinking that Gavin Henson had signed for London irish. For all of 3 seconds. (Got her on the same thing last year!)
