Book bingo. We were given a list of 75 criteria e.g. a book you were given, a book told in the present tense, a book with a green spine, etc. We could opt out of 9 we thought we might find really hard - most of us opted out of books told in the second person! Then from the rest we were given (not sure how) a five by five board with 25 squares to fill. As we fill our squares, we note what we've read on a master list and some kind of google docs magic colours in the appropriate square... I've only got three to go. One person has the full 25 already. I rather thought she was ahead of me! It has made me look at some book choices I might not have considered, but in some ways I'll be glad when I've finished - I need to get on with my normal to-be-read pile! If you're still interested I think I'll post about it at some stage because it could be adapted and enjoyed by a lot of people. The original idea was, I think, on Goodreads. Wikipedia is quite helpful in finding books to fit some of the stranger squares.
