Is there any rugby happening you could combine it with? There was an item on the local radio the other day about the Manic Street Preachers planning a tour to co-incide with the Lions tour 'down under' so they could go watch the matches!

Snazzy website, and some interesting programme ideas, but it seems to have taken a step backwards in being m/m only. If I could afford to go I'd be sending the organisers a stern email.

I think, because it's their first one, they want to just test the water and maybe expand it in future years. I can see both sides of the argument, I think.

I'm wary, because it implies to me that a) some of the organisers may be on the side of the reviewers and publishers who won't accept trans or bi stories and b) even though they're advertising it as in the centre of the gay scene, they might not know what to offer in terms of entertainment (or indeed a welcome) to any bi or lesbian women who happen to come along. But I'd be happy to be proven wrong on both counts.

Will do. It's all a bit "have to do that at some point" sat the moment, and would like to combine as many elements as possible. Including meeting the Wattos!
