Silver linings...
The Amazon fiasco has had lots of them.
GLBT romance getting £££s worth of free publicity, including product placements on mainstream TV.
alex_beecroft,
markprobst and
erastes (and me a bit) getting their names all over the shop, and appearing dignified and sensible in the process.
And, as I searched for non Amazon UK sites to put on my website, I found that my books are listed at both Blackwell's and Waterstones.

I'm waiting for someone to say we did it all for publicity, so the above post is more than a little tongue in cheek. I think the way the protags handled it will be greatly to 'our' (meaning m/m readers and writers) credit.
