Wonderful Christmas

People say that Christmas loses its sparkle as the kids grow up, but we find it just gets better and better. You should have seen us 8am yesterday, six people aged 18 to 56 in Cathy's room, opening the stocking pressies.

The last few days have seen games, puzzles, treasure hunts, challenges, great food and drink, midnight service, a bit of shopping in the sales, and - maybe best of all - crazy golf at Bournemouth.

It's not about expensive gifts or big nights out or 'perfect' dinners. It's about love.

We had a fab time too. I actually managed to get a Christmas jigsaw from a charity shop at the last minute, which went down just as well as the Rotten Romans boardgame that I had to buy new.
