Using all our senses at Christmas
Have blogged over at the Samhain site about how it isn't just beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Come and see what I think are the definitive odours, tastes, etc.

We are going to string it with popcorn and cranberries and seashells, because this year our 'real' ornaments are in storage in CT. Still, it will look brave. All Christmas trees are beautiful-- like brides.
The other smell is of snow. There is snow-- it has not melted. But it is not as fiercely cold as it will be, in Feb. for instance. It is actually ok out.
Outside they are playing the looping Christmas music. Today we had Silent Night in Spanish, and Jingle Bells in Korean by kids little enough to shout when they sing. (4,5,6,maybe.)

Very mild here. The north has had snow but it's almost spring like here.
