Sad news, glad news

One of my great writing heroes, Dominic Hibberd, died last August, when we were in America and I only just found out. :( Another wonderful King's man.

Happier note is another nice review for Promises Made Under Fire, this time from Flashlight Commentary literary review site. Cochrane does a superb job recreating the sentimentality surrounding correspondence exchanged between servicemen and the loved ones they've left behind.
