That 7 line meme thingy
Feb. 22nd, 2013 01:50 pmGot tagged again. This time I won't cheat.
The rules:
1. Go to page 7 or 77 in your current manuscript (if you have a page 777, knock yourself out :) )
2. Go to line 7
3. Copy down the next seven lines as they are – no cheating
4. Tag 7 other authors. I tag anyone who wants to play.
Excerpt from work called "Random" (as it hasn't even got a working title); this makes no sense out of context.
(Do they have any carpenters’ marks like the ones at Chesapeake Mill? In that case I’d like to take the equivalent of a brass rubbing, if that’s feasible and doesn’t involve perching on top of the sideboard.)
Whatever the sick feeling in the pit of his stomach said, Morgan was going to have to invite Dominic over. The opportunity to see this specimen in action wasn’t one to be missed.
I’ll be looking at the local area, clearly; I believe there are some graves in the churchyard. It seems the locals did better by the men than those on the Scilly Isles did by Cloudesley Shovell. Still, I suppose the inhabitants of Jersey have always been on the respectable side.
