What's going on chez Cochrane...

Writing:

• Latest Cambridge Fellows book just submitted.


• Three other stories sent off, none of them to the usual places. Same genre as I always write, but sort of seeing if I can spread my wings.


• Trying to craft a free story for 'UK Meet delegate giveaway memory sticks'. It's supposed to be Jonty and Orlando universe, but other people want to poke their noses in. Vexatious.

Life:

• Looking forward to Easter holidays (no schools open means no training to deliver for a couple of weeks!) Much fun planned, including Hampton Court, Casa Brasil, Boulter's Lock and a trip to Cardiff.


• And then there were seven... Other families seem to 'lose' their kids as they get older. Ours, bless their cotton socks, cling on and bring boyfriends! So now our big excursions/holidays can involve two cars and up to seven people. I keep telling myself we're blessed, really.

Arrival of a belated present

From my Sal, The Final Whistle, which is about some of the Rosslyn Park players killed in the great war. Rugby plus WWI. There will be tears before bedtime.
