Equal rights - an afterthought

Interesting to see Justin Welby talking about tackling homophobic bullying in church schools.  The majority of the population rightly detests homophobic behaviour or anything that looks like it and sometimes they look at us and see what they don't like.

Interestingly enough (back with the school governor training hat on) I've found church schools to have some great examples of celebrating diversity and fighting discrimination of any kind. I can think of church schools with gay headteachers, too. One can't assume where prejudice (direct or indirect) will or won't occur.
