Guest author - Angelia Sparrow

Angelia is another author I've got to know better through both having stories in Undeath and the Detective. She mostly writes same-sex romance and horror.

So, Angelia, what inspired you to start writing?

I can't remember a time when I didn't write. I have made up stories since I was a small child, started writing them down at 8 or 9. I got serious around 15 when I discovered Star Trek fanfiction. I bounced from fanfic to original fiction and back again. The going pro part of the writing came about because someone I knew vaguely from a Star Wars mailing list (Pumpkin from Master_Apprentice) put out a call for Torquere's Monsters anthology. I submitted and kept writing and submitting. Now, 9 years later, I have 12 novels and over 75 short stories.( Read more... )
