charlie_cochrane: (lessons for suspicious minds)
Started with a smidge of rugby from "down under" on TV. Several of the Queensland Reds had a second name on their shirt, not just their own as a mark of respect to ANZAC Reds.

Then off to London for a St George's Day related concert with the wonderfully over the top Brian Blessed as compere. I sang along to "Jerusalem", "We'll Meet Again" and the rest with the best of them. First time I'd been to the Royal Albert Hall - what a venue! Also enjoyed a wonderful Tapas lunch and a pooch around Kensington gardens (where I'd also never been before). Wonderful to see - and hear - the feral parakeets in the park.
