Looking back and forward
Jan. 7th, 2018 03:49 pm2015 and 2016 were quite challenging in Cochrane land (don't ask) so it was nice to find ourselves on a more even keel in 2017. That was also the year we not only sat down and wrote our (non-bucket) bucket-list, we started fulfilling it. So, together we ticked off:
From our joint list, seeing an after dinner speech from Nigel Owens.
From my list, a ride on a Lancaster bomber.
From Mr C's list, a visit to the opera.
Not on our lists but after doing them we'd recommend them to anyone, walking among bioluminescent worms off Jersey, choral evensong at St. John's college Cambridge.
Planned for 2018 (God willing):
From our joint list, going on a cruise.
From my list, trying to see the Northern Lights.
From Mr C's list, a visit to the ballet.
