I do a Christmas letter 'coz I like them - even from the family where they're all high-achievers. A lot of my family aren't on facebook (or at least I'm not connected to them if they are), so it's only through my great-uncle's Christmas letter that I know one of my second-cousins has been a linesman at the NFL Wembley games :-)
These days, of course, ours is mostly full of chicken & garden news, and this year will feature the cat.
