The most important thing is to wish you all a very merry Christmas and a truly blessed new year. May you get everything you want and may it be as wonderful as when you only wanted it.

It feels like the time to sum up 2013, and I’d say it’s been a good year, with three things published. A new Cambridge Fellows book, “Lessons for Suspicious Minds”, a novella, “Promises Made Under Fire”, and a short story, “Secrets” in the anthology Undeath and the Detective.

Looking ahead, “Awfully Glad” will be coming out in January, but I hope that won’t be the only release of 2014. I’ve got three stories of various lengths submitted to three different publishers, and several works in progress in varied degrees of completion.

The Deadly Dames took off this year and we’re looking at exciting things for 2014, including Purbeck Litfest. If you haven’t seen our interview conducted by Stevie Carroll, it’s been reposted at the Promoting Crime blogspot.

I’ll leave you with a snippet of a modern day Jonty and Orlando flirting over twitter.
