charlie_cochraneThe family Cochrane went to see this yesterday. Lovely film, real tearjerker, but not at all as the trailer portrays it. Less a 'Sherlock investigates an old case to put the story right' than an exploration of memory loss and the perils of a very intelligent man growing old.
Nice little touches such a cameo roles for John Sessions and Phil Davis, both of whom featured in 'Sherlock' and Nicholas Rowe, who played 'Young Sherlock' many moons ago, as Holmes in a film within the film.
