My thanks to [livejournal.com profile] gaycrow for pointing me in the way of this post about David Pocock supporting gay marriage equality.

I ended up with my comment on the other page. All I said was, he is lovely to look at. And proof that men that look like that can be articulate and smart. Same way that buxom women can be smart...

*nods* And blondes/blonds and all the other stereotypes. I shall cheer for him at the weekend.

Blondes only have that reputation because bottle-blondes bleach out all their braincells (try saying that in a hurry).

Try saying that to my bottle blonde daughters. They'd kill you!

I'd love to see you in a fight with Nurse H. She's partly based on or old college nurse...

As I mentioned in your other post, I don't follow rugby, but I did catch David's name when glancing through the sports pages in our local paper. Then to see this article the next day was a very pleasing coincidence. It's a good feeling to see a man in such a macho sport supporting equal marriage. Hopefully the message will get through to people who hadn't paid notice before.

The rugby community has always been incredibly gay-friendly (maybe they have nothing to prove in terms of being macho so they don't perceive a threat?)

Thanks for that link!
