charlie_cochraneLife chez Cochrane is happy as the European rugby cups season has begun. Worcester vs Stade Francais – the guys with the amazing shirts – on TV last night and if all the games are as good as that one, then it’ll be a vintage season. Off to the Madstad tomorrow to see London Irish take on Edinburgh. Apologies if that was a load of gibberish; it makes sense to me.
News:
Met up with the UK Meet planning team last weekend, to prepare for the 2012 event. Don’t forget that the free anthology which came out as a tie-in to last year’s event is still available (and still free of charge!) here
My story in it, Omission and Commission, has definite resonances for today.
Arromanches, 1994. A visit to the D-day beaches has become a pilgrimage for Stephen. He counts his life as starting in 1939 and finishing in 1944. Here.
I’ve posted another ficlet, relevant to the day, at my ‘other’ Live Journal, mylodon. Feel free to friend or follow me chez mylodon – it’s where I tend to pontificate about life, get excited about rugby, and post my fanfic. (Some of which is on the odd side, like Torchwood/Jeeves and Wooster crossovers. You’ve been warned.)
