How do we get our books further 'out there'?

Been blogging about the old question "How do we get our books to a wider audience?" over at The Macaronis. Not sure I have many (if any!) answers.

If you work that one out, let me know. Although I've been surprised how many people at the library are getting out mine. It's rarely on the shelf - and that's still the case now that the staff have worked through it - so I think you're very right in the case that there's a much wider audience out there than we think. It's just how to tap into it.
