Am reading an excellent biography of Alan Turing, as sent me by the lovely [livejournal.com profile] anteros_lmc. Just got to the bit where Christopher Morcom has died and reading Turing's letters to Mrs Morcom. Can't read any more for a while...*sobs*

Oh I'm so sorry :'( *hands Charlie handkerchief*

(Meanwhile, I am reading Home Fires Burning by the inimitable Ms Cochrane. It's very good!)

And I thought I was bad. I'm always sniffling over some book or other. Ah!

So called romantic films or other tear jerkers leave me cold, but reading about Turing having premonitions of Morcom's death...*wails*.

Yup, I know exactly what you mean. I cry over things which others would not even blink at. Dinosaurs dying, a book cover, the few M/M novellas I've read. I was still tearful at work over one of those. *sob* and a passage from one of your own books in a SIN review. "All Lessons Learned" . Now that did strike a cord.

I got into a bit of a state writing that, let alone reading it. :)
