Come dine with...salmonella?

The teenage Cochranes (plus a Cochrane boyfriend) are going to be doing their own 'Come Dine With Me' over the course of the next ten days or so. Four meals, four cooks, six guests (including me and Mr C), prize for the winner of £20.

Assuming I survive I'll let you know the gastronomic delights on offer.

Jeffrey Deaver - you're a gent

I suppose the chances of Jeffrey Deaver reading this are twofold - fat and slim - but I wanted to say how happy he made my daughter today, at his book signing. Apparently he was a true gent, charming and patient, signing any books people brought along and chatting with his fans.
