Spirit Day 20th October
Oct. 4th, 2010 09:04 amPlenty of you are posting about this, so I'm just adding a bit from the East side of the Atlantic.
For all that we have anti-discrimination laws in the UK and dealing with bullying is a high priority for schools, GLBT kids can have just as hard a time of it here as in other countries. I've been a long time supporter of The Albert Kennedy Trust, who do great work with homeless GLBT younsgters. If you're British and looking to make a donation in response to the Spirit Day event, please consider AKT.
