Some random thoughts on today's big sports event

I never thought I'd hear the language of slash come to the Ryder Cup, but "Moliwood" is how they've been describing the Molinari/Fleetwood bromance.

A major factor in the result was the performance of the captains' picks. Casey, Garcia, Poulter and Stenson all scored a hatful of points, especially on the final day. Apart from Finau, who played well, Furyk's choices - Mickelson, Woods and de Chambeau - didn't score a single point between them.

Team USA might have done better if they had players willing to dress up as postboxes. That is not a frivolous comment.
