Been a-blogging again, over at The Samhain Romance Blog about how we need to remember that what we take for granted (particularly e-books) are frightening and very cutting edge for many people. Do come and give your two penn'orth.

I shall go read over there, but another thing we (or at least I) take for granted in our genre(s) is being able to buy ebooks direct from the publisher... keep meaning to post about it but can't get my musings together for long enough!

*nods* I have one publisher who's only just ventured into e-books and tends to go through third parties, but that's moving forward too so direct should be available soon.

I'll look forward to your post.

I feel about e-books more or less as I do about paper books. It is not the form of the book that matters. E-books are jsut a way of having essentially infinite bookscase space. They are not quite so good for books with plates, or maps, I find. But other than that the essential bookiness is the same.

*nods* Yes. They don't suit me, but I see them like audio books - another version.
