Happy New Year, my lovelies! Here’s wishing you the very best for 2013. What’s my wish for the year ahead (apart from England to win the Six Nations)? People – especially those in power/authority to act like grownups and decent human beings. Maybe that’s too much to hope for?
News:
Most important bit is that UK meet website has been updated, road tested and is in business for the 2013 event. You can see the draft programme, read what's on offer for the various delegates catered for and, most importantly, book your place! There are various packages to offer best value for delegate needs, including an early booking discount. I’ll be there (no way I’d miss it), as will all sorts of other lovelies, including the organising team of Jo Myles, JL Merrow, Clare London and Liam Livings, and the early bird bookers (like Usain Bolt off the booking blocks!) Anne Brooke and Elin Gregory.
I’m at the Romantic Novelists’ Association blog today, being the tenth day of Christmas. No, this is not the authors’ equivalent of “Calendar Girls”, me with just strategically placed baubles. It’s about Christmas decorations with sentimental value.
Looking ahead, the Deadly Dames will be appearing at Windsor library on March 15th. More details when I have them. (I must not get the lurgy this time.)
