This reminds me of the time a man came into work (I'm Checkout Supervisor at one of the large supermarkets) and asked (in a very broad Glaswegian accent) for Wayne.

"Wayne who?"

"Wayne!"

I didn't know anyone called Wayne, so "What department does he work on?"

"Not Wayne, Wayne!"

(????)

"You know, red and white wayne!"

This is a true story ...

Oh yes. Now, next time we sing a certain anthem (which is a fave song) we'll have to say flourascawlin...

I have to confess that I am not a huge fan of Flourascawlin :} There's very interesting and quite funny site here about the various alternative anthems that have been suggested over the years. I know the words are a bit bloody, but I think I would have to go for Scots Wha Hae, particularly as played by the French! Or failing that Hoots Mon by Lord Rockingham, that would make an awesome anthem. Can you imagine Murrayfield singing that??! XD

Hoots Mon is great. Also I'd favour "Donald where's your troosers?"

Interesting seeing all those together. There's a distinct impression of chips on shoulders. :)
