This time it's Tom's, from promises Made Under Fire.

And that's nighty nighty from a very tired mother (me) who got put through the mill by her rugby boys!

They've been fabulous snippets. I've been trying all day to write mine but there's been just too much going on. If I finish it can I post it as a comment to one of yours?

Thanks for the offer. :( I gave up about half past ten. Still, I have a page and a half that I might be able to add to the sequel of OALS and I got up at 5.30 and wrote 800 words about 1920s spies. First thing in the morning when dog and otherhalf are still in the land of nod seems to be the best time to write.

Can I join the Macaronis formally if I promise to share goodies from the collection?

You nutty? naaaah!

I belong to the yahoo group but not the wordpress thingy. :) I've been writing pirates arguing over which way up to plant spring bulbs.

Ask erastes to set you up with access. Shouldn't be a problem.

Did they decide which way was best?

After some argument, a near duel between Kit and Kit's brother, and an intervention from the vicar, they will decide pointy side up.

I'll ask herself next time I see her. :) ta muchly.

When I Read Promises Made Under Fire the first time through, I didn't know what to think of Tom's mother. By the time I'd read it the third time, I began to see her as a woman I would have liked. She loved her Tom no matter what and that is what makes her special.

*nods* She was very much influenced by mothers from the time, such as Susan owen. I wonder how much she knew about her son's interest in men?
