Thinking of England today. She's a lovely, welcoming, mixed up and muddled place but I love her. Sort of apropos that I was tidying Billy up yesterday; my mate John was around and gave me some cyclamens which had been dumped, for me to put on the grave.

He also persuaded me to do some research into the men listed on our great war memorial. hardly started and I;m already sniffly.
