Your yard is so cool and shady. When we lived in New Jersey we used to get deer visits too. Those were white tails.

It's not all shade - next door has some big trees so that side is always cool (little grass grows, though).

We only get roe deer. Wish we got red.

Sweet! All I get is an occasional obnoxious possum.

We get obnoxious grey squirrels, rather nice foxes and the occasional shrew.

I haven't seen our deer for a while. Hopefully they're just keeping cool in the woods somewhere.
