Well, it’s been a bit of a fortnight!
Highlights:
England stuffing the Welsh (that Danny Care try – cor!)
Cheltenham races – Bookies nil, Charlie plenty
Spring finally sprung in our garden
Lowlights:
Exhaust falling off hubby’s car as I drove it home not an hour ago.

Writing News:

Lovely to report that I’ve got a short story coming out from Riptide this summer - second chance at love sort of thing.. Just thrashing around with the edits on it and trying to find a better title for it than the working one it has at present. Something that combines food and non-communication and bereavement and... Yep, easy! Hopefully will be able to report that next time (but any suggestions gratefully received).

The Dames will be rocking Penzance Lit Fest. More details nearer the time, but 5pm on 18th July is in the diary. Great way to celebrate the Cochranes’ 33rd wedding anniversary. :)

My day at the Romance Room 3rd Anniversary Party is March 19th. You can win a copy of Horns and Haloes when it’s my day! You need to register and be logged in at TRR before you can play the game. Registration is free and simple. Even I could do it.

Not sure what kind of mood exactly you're aiming for (or what details fit your story), but the ingredients above suggest to me the image of a freezer full of casseroles.

LOL There may be some mileage in the freezer thing.
