One of the charities I support is The Royal Star and Garter Homes. In the latest edition of their newsletter, they talk about Rempods, to help people living with Dementia. What a super, simple idea.

That's fantastic. The most popular exhibit in our museum amongst older visitors is a rebuilt shop with stock from approx 1940. It really sparks of conversation. I wish we could get the smell of it though. Bacon, cheese, sherry in the barrel, sacks of spuds, paraffin, candles, Bluebird toffee!

Oh yes, yes. I think smell is among the most evocative of the senses. Sometimes I get a whiff of something and I'm a child again. The smell of the dodgems!
