Another lovely local story from WWI

We live in an area that's particularly blessed with military history. Within half an hour or so drive I can visit anything from an Iron Age hill fort to the tunnel Nelson walked through to his ship when he last stood on English soil. WWI troops left from our local railway station and Dday vehicles probably came down our road. Gosport is one of the areas blessed with amazing stories.
