I'm always last to find out about any and everything, so it was only a few years ago I discovered the music of John Rutter. I was blown away. This is the Candlelight Carol.

You obviously don't have classic fm on default in the car...

I have classic fm in the car, planet rock in the kitchen, and all my Spotify stuff on my laptop in the lounge. My mother and grandmother were music teachers so I got an early education in classical music, but found pop (and later rock) at boarding school! Jazz came at uni then husband steered me to folk, and heavy metal. Line dance gave me Country and Western. Daughter kept me up to date on pop and now I mix and match from all over the place!! *g*

I think I was a disappointment to my mother - I strayed from the strictly classical fold! My daughter and I have similar tastes. Grandson is firmly addicted to modern pop, which after a while I find boring. I like variety in my music, art, reading, theatre, etc!! But... grandson is, as you may know by now, autistic, and perhaps he fixated on pop and then found it comforting at some point? I always switch the car radio for him. (I don't for husband, who would prefer Radio 4.)
