Life is so exciting. I've just uploaded a website, Love...Romance..Murder. Very much a flat pack/colour by numbers version but it'll do grand for the moment. Thanks to alex_beecroft for the recommendation.
"Lessons in Love" comes out on my birthday! I just noticed--I've been a bit distracted. *wry grin* How lovely of you to publish it in such a timely fashion, though. *laugh*
And you are far from an idiot, my friend. In my family when people make comments like that, they're fined $.50 to go to the Good Cheer Fund (which is later used for the purchasing of ice cream and other treats for the whole fam).
Well, it was all planned that way, you know. *g* Actually, there have been some lovely coincidences, like the date of the lads anniversary being the birthday of another LJ pal. And that banner featuring a drawing of the place my hubby and I met.
How do I donate to that good cheer fund? Or shall I just put $0.50 into our charity pot as recompense? (And I AM an idiot when it comes to computers, but bright enough with the rest of my brain to get away with it...)
Hang on to it and we can go to get ice cream together when I make it to England. Have done some preliminary looking at tickets and will let you know when I find them!
Oh it's good! I actually like the background - you could have done a lot worse! And the layout is excellent. Do you have the ability to upload pictures into the text boxes for your bookcovers?
I can upload pics; have got them in my catalogue page (as links no less). Actually - can you just check for me that they do show up - I can see them but I don't trust the net at all. Will upload some more in a min. :)
Brilliant old girl, pretty front page love the comment :-) Will go and have a better look when I've been PG tip'd, fed and showered for the morning. Ship's cat's in here demanding to be fed their rations and they wave hello ( That's the Mrs Pumprey in me *g*)
But you're so much prettier than Mrs Pumpohrey. (I've been getting a daily 20 minute dose of All Creatures... each morning before the family get up. Bliss!)
Kiss that ship's cat for me but only if it's Archie.
I have Mrs P's bust :-) All creatures *sigh* all that Yorkshire countryside * sighs again*
Archie cat has been a reet bugger today - I wish I could video him and his antics - he is an entertaining little sod. Like his namesake such a personality :-) You'd like this Horatio much better - far nicer than his namesake. Apart for his need to hide in the closet ocasionally ;-) He's a gentle placid moggie :-)
That series is vcertainly one of those 'They don't make em like that...' ones. If that makes sense. Oh absolutely - terribly english - like Dad's army -classics :-)
The original Horatio wasn't hid in the closet then? :)
LOL true - however Horatio puss is such a sweetie, I've never seen a more gentle natured beastie :-) He's a flower child Horry, all sniffing plants and hippyish LOL
If you could see them now all snuggled up together on the chair and now I'm going to bed the key of tbhis laptop are looking like an alien alphabet :-) nearly 2am here - am glutton for cricket.
