Interesting article. Nothing quite like the papers of the time for invoking the feeling of the day. I have a stash mum and dad brought over from England with us - including some from *that* date *g*
Among my prized possessions of course.

I wish I'd kept all my Shoot, Dandy and Beano's but hubby would have a cow for I am a wee bit of a hoarder and he's a bit of a minimalist
:-) and Ebay is evil for one's hobbies I bought some wonderful old mags off it.
