Cochrane Towers was looking particularly lovely yesterday, the snow as deep as I've ever seen it here and the trees simply magical. No snowmen, however - the white stuff was far too powdery. Not even able to make snowballs, although getting a stick and knocking the snow off said trees when teenagers were standing under them was good fun. I knock about forty years off my age when it snows...

Have downe a tiny little blog, entitled Britches or Trousers? here.

Britches, breeches, breechings, braies, trews, trousers, pantaloons, the darksome lair of the one-eyed worm or unmentionables - it all adds up to fun whichever term one uses.

Hmmm - I have an odd feeling that I could have got that lot to rhyme with a little more effort.

Did you know that dreaming of trousers means you'll be tempted to do something dishonourable? If they are inside out then something fascinating is getting a hold on you. QED

LOL. A rhyming version would be great.

Was watching the Mrs Bradley Mysteries the other day and she quoted her mother as referring to sex as 'matters of the trouser'.

What does it mean when you have a habit of putting your knickers on inside out?

It means it's easy to check the size if you've forgotten. I'm getting to the stage where such little wheezes might become important.
