Snow came, the south of England ground to a halt. Much wailing in Cochrane household because it was the wrong sort of snow to make snowmen with. Still, we got out and had great fun; I still have the stick I was using to knock snow off trees on teenagers’ heads.

News

Been a busy week, so here’s a summary in case you missed aught.

All That Jazz (contemporary romance set against the backdrop of an all-male production of Chicago) is now available in e-book from MLR.

Lessons in Seduction is now in print.

There’s a free Jonty and Orlando story, Once We Won Matches, in Wilde Oats magazine.

“It shouldn’t do that, Dr. Stewart.”

“That’s the third time you’ve said the same thing. And it doesn’t matter how many times you repeat the phrase, it won’t change the facts. It can and it does.” I tried my best to smile kindly; I loved it when Orlando Coppersmith found things that contradicted his powers of intellect and reason.

“But it defies all logic. Whatever variables you apply, it makes no sense.” Orlando shook his head, loosening the curls which always seemed keen to fight free from the restraint of comb or pomade. I loved those curls, too. When we first met and I fell head over heels for Orlando, it was that wild mane of hair, so carefully restrained, that got me all of a lather. It spoke of hidden qualities within him, parts of his character that I had to find and liberate.

Looking ahead

There’s a party next weekend at the Samhain Cafe – it’ll be a hoot, with lots of great giveaways.

I’ve another standalone e-book coming out from MLR – The Shade on a Fine Day, which is a Regency gay romance.

Curate William Church may set the hearts of the parish's young ladies aflame, but he doesn't want their affection or presents. He has his sights set elsewhere, for a love he's not allowed to indulge.

One night, eight for dinner at the Canon's table means the potential arrival of a ghost. But what message will the spirit bring and which of the young men around the table is it for?

The hip-hop was a surprise, the content not at all. I expect you've got a few boxes in your chill-chest. Cute little devils.

The tentacle slurp--or were they cilia?--was a bit of a queaze... I don't eat anything with a face.

Thank you (I think!) for expanding my cultural horizons!

Tentacles - too big for cilia. And that's a bit of an in-joke in our house, as the girls refuse to let me eat squid, etc when we're out. Ew, tentacles.

My pleasure to lead you astray.

It was a story I greatly enjoyed writing. Seasonal, too. :)

LOl indeed. When we went on holiday to Massachusetts this summer, we all made CDs to listen to in the car - I got addicted to this song from one of those CDs.

Looking forward to hearing about ATJ; hope you enjoy it.
